Location

Disney’s Old Key West Resort is situated in the Downtown Disney area of Walt Disney World – meaning you’re not far away from all the shopping and dining Downtown Disney has to offer. Typhoon Lagoon is also close by. Your closest park will be Epcot, which is also quite nearby.

Studio Rooms

  • Sleep 4, plus one child under age of three
  • 1 Queen size bed and 1 queen sized sofa bed
  • Table and chairs

  • Kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, toaster and coffeemaker
  • Amenities include in-room safe, voice mail, high-speed Internet access (additional fee), hairdryer, iron, ironing board, and Pack ‘n Play® playard.
  • Unlike standard rooms they will come with a limited number of paper plates and cups, glasses, bottle opener, disposable cutlery etc.

1 bed villas

  • Sleep 4, plus one child under age of three
  • One-bedroom, one-bath room, with a separate living room
  • Fully equipped kitchen, including a washing machine and dryer
  • Dining area with table and chairs
  • Patio or balcony
  • Master bedroom suite includes a king-size bed and bathroom
  • The living room has a queen-size sleeper sofa.
  • Amenities include DVD player, in-room safe, voice mail, high-speed Internet access (additional fee), hairdryer, iron, ironing board, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker and Pack ‘n Play® playard.

2 bed villas

  • Sleep 8, plus one child under age of three.
  • These are essentially a 1 bed villa combined with a studio. Some are ‘lock-off’ versions – i.e. are exactly that and can be separated with a door between the two. Some are dedicated  versions, in which case the studio’s kitchenette is replaced by another vanity unit and sink.

3 bed grand villas

  • These are not standardly offered to UK guests – try the Walt Disney Travel Company directly if you’re interested
  • Sleep 12 plus one child under 3
  • Very expensive and hard to get – they book up quickly
  • 2 storey
  • Full kitchen, dining room, great room, laundry room
  • Master bedroom and bathroom on ground floor
  • 2nd bathroom on the ground floor
  • Two additional bedrooms on first floor, with 2 queen beds in one and 2 double beds in the second. Each has its own private bathroom.
  • The great room has a dining area with four chairs, and queen size sofa sleeper, loveseat, and chair and ottoman
  • The dining room has a large table that seats eight, connecting to a home-size kitchen
  • Balcony with dining table, four chairs, and ceiling fan with light

Other Facts

  • The resort is pretty big and it can be quite a walk to the main Hospitality House. The regular Disney buses stop there on their way out though so you can always take one of these.
  • It has 4 pools – the main one has a slide, hot tub and sauna
