Disney’s BoardWalk Villas

Location

Disney’s BoardWalk Villas are located right alongside Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, on Disney’s BoardWalk, They are right in the middle of the BoardWalk action and pretty much centred between Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You can walk or catch a friendship boat to either, making these a prime location.

Villa Type

Studio Rooms

  • Sleep 4, plus one child under age of three
  • Some studios will sleep 5 – the additional person must be a child under about age 9, on a junior day bed. This is not a standard option so if you’re interested you’d need to contact Disney directly.
  • 1 Queen size bed and 1 double sized sofa bed
  • Table and chairs
  • Balcony or patio
  • Kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, toaster and coffeemaker
  • Amenities include in-room safe, voice mail, high-speed Internet access (additional fee), hairdryer, iron, ironing board, and Pack ‘n Play® playard.
  • Unlike standard rooms they will come with a limited number of paper plates and cups, glasses, bottle opener, disposable cutlery etc.

1 bed villas

  • Sleep 4, plus one child under age of three
  • One-bedroom, one-bath room, with a separate living room
  • Fully equipped kitchen, including a washing machine and dryer
  • Dining area with table and chairs
  • Patio or balcony
  • Master bedroom suite includes a king-size bed and bathroom
  • The living room has a queen-size sleeper sofa.
  • Amenities include DVD player, in-room safe, voice mail, high-speed Internet access (additional fee), hairdryer, iron, ironing board, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker and Pack ‘n Play® playard.

2 bed villas

  • Sleep 8, plus one child under age of three.
  • These are essentially a 1 bed villa combined with a studio. Some are ‘lock-off’ versions – i.e. are exactly that and can be separated with a door between the two. Some are dedicated  versions, in which case the studio’s kitchenette is replaced by another vanity unit and sink.

3 bed grand villas

  • These are not standardly offered to UK guests – try the Walt Disney Travel Company directly if you’re interested
  • Sleep 12 plus one child under 3
  • Very expensive and hard to get – they book up quickly
  • 2 storey
  • Full kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry room
  • Master bedroom and bathroom on ground floor
  • Two additional bedrooms on first floor, both with 2 queen beds and each has a private bathroom.
  • The living room has a queen sized sofa bed
  • Balcony

Dining

Like Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, there isn’t much option in terms of dedicated dining, but as you’re right on the BoardWalk, you have some great dining options available to you, including

  • Big River Grille and Brewing works – serving sandwiches, salads etc
  • Kouzzina by Cat Cora – a Greek/Mediterranean style restaurant
  • BoardWalk Bakery – cakes and pastries – ideal for a quick bite in the morning – or any other time
  • Pizza window – does exactly what it says on the tin
  • ESPN club – showing every kind of sport while you eat/drink.
  • Flying Fish – a signature seafood restaurant.

Transport

  • Walk or boat to both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios
  • Disney bus to all the other parks and Downtown Disney

Other Facts

  • You’ll be sharing amenities with Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, so it’s worth checking out what they offer
  • Guests have access to the Muscles and Buscles health club
  • There’s only one set of lifts for the Villas so if you need to use these, you could have a long walk. If this is a factor, request either a ground floor or to be close to the lifts. Disney wont guarantee it but they’ll do their best.
