Every year, in the spring, Epcot hosts the International Flower and Garden Festival. The festival runs for a couple of months – this year from 7 March to 20 May and features a number of events during this time, including speakers, presentations, themed weekends and even a concert series. For most people however, it is the displays around the park that stand out – every where you go in Epcot during this time, you can’t fail to notice the incredible topiaries that have been shaped and coloured to look like our favourite Disney characters. Even as someone with little to no appreciation of flowers and gardens, I can see that these are pretty incredible.
So for those that, like me last year, happen to be attending during the Flower and Garden Festival by accident as opposed to by plan, I thought I’d share some of our photos of last year’s incredible displays, to get you excited about what you’ll be about to see – just click on the photos for a slightly larger image:
